Scott Shaw is a Manhattan-based dancer, circus performer, photographer, and avid home baker. He is currently the resident photographer for Gibney as well as the founder of invert., an art publication that seeks to feature the work of queer and gender non-conforming photographers.
His photography has been featured in The New York Times, The LA Times, The Art Newspaper, The Village Voice, Gothamist, Time Out New York, Brooklyn Rail, ARTFORUM, ArtsJournal, Dance Magazine, Crain's Business New York, and more.
